Elizabeth's speech reminded me of a quote from the Bhagavad Gita, where Krisha states "One may believes he is the slayer, another believes he is the slain. Both are ignorant; there is neither slayer nor slain." Both remind me that that there is some unknown power that enables us to act or create, and that we should not believe that we "own" that power. It was ours temporarily.
My name is Jane Kim. I am an artist and science illustrator driven by my passion for wildlife biology and conservation. Through art, I share wonders of the natural world that bring me unrefined excitement.
I would like to share my experiences with you and invite you to places in which I like to dwell.
